BELAX ELITE lead by Coach Bill Zopp and Assistant Coach Matt O'neill Win JV Championship defeating Chesapeake ROCK 2 6-5 to win the GOTSKILLS tournament on November 22, 2009.

BELAX Alumni capture MVP honors in the Japanese Friendship games. The UMBC Retrievers traveled to Japan on June 11th to play in the Japanese Friendship games. They stayed in Japan for 11 days and on the opening day and closing day BELAX players shined. BELAX is well represented on the UMBC team and two Alumns came home with honors.
